I was born and raised in the city by the sea: White Rock, British Columbia thus my love for anything outdoors. When I am not working, I love to spend my free time racking up the kilometres on the seawall, shredding the North Shore mountains, or yelling "four" off the tee...the golf game is still a work in progress.
I graduated from Kwantlen University with a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Marketing Management. Upon completion, I worked for several ad agencies in Vancouver with roles ranging from Community Manager to Digital Marketing Coordinator. My typical book of business catered to publicly-owned companies in the industries of consumer packaged goods, mining, biotech, and tourism. During this time I was responsible for supporting digital campaigns through social media management and curation, paid online advertising, and email marketing.
In 2016, I took what I had learned from my previous roles and started a boutique digital agency called True Grit Marketing. Our focus was providing digital services to SMBs within Vancouver. It was during this time that I unearthed my passion for storytelling, love of problem-solving, and curiosity in the nuance of business.
My affinity for technology and competitive nature led me to my current position as an Account Executive at iQmetrix Software. In this role, I educate wireless dealers on our integrated payment solution and help demystifying the role payment processing plays in their business. I have successfully achieved 130% of quota in the past two-consecutive years and have contracted more than 1,800 wireless stores in North America totaling over 1.6 mm. I work with a few of the largest authorized retailers in North America representing brands such as Verizon, AT&T, and US Cellular.
